JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Charterhouse are presently assisting a client in the recruitment of a Manager for Group Reporting & Compliance to join their centralised Dubai-based finance team.

This Finance Manager shall take ownership of a monthly reporting and consolidation function, whilst overseeing all audit-related activities across the group entities, to deliver accounting policy adherence and advisory linking to IFRS compliance.

With a reporting line to the Group Financial Controller, the role will be heavily linked towards overseeing and advising upon all aspects of IFRS-based controllership and governance whilst also assessing, monitoring and implementing any local regulatory requirements within international jurisdictions.

From a financial accounting perspective, this role shall be focused towards alignment to both IFRS & GAAP policies; to ensure compliance within group statutory needs along with all external audit undertakings and any financial submittals to third parties and/or partners.

REQUIREMENTS

The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA), whom is coming out of an audit and advisory background, ideally within a Big 4 practice. In conjunction, the successful candidate can have post-practice experience within a corporate-based role; whereby they have worked within a technical accounting and consolidation focused role.

The client will look to on-board a candidate whom can demonstrate excellent IFRS and GAAP knowledge, with an ability to manage and communicate policy across the finance function, whilst also being able to support the financial reporting deadlines for audit management and any policy consideration. This role shall require a candidate whom has a minimum of ten years’ experience and exposure to Oracle and Hyperion platforms shall be seen as a distinct advantage.
