JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):
Manages all aspects of product development, management and the associated market management and market communication for the Internet IP Transit (EMIX), content (CDN) related services, and Cloud services. Evaluate the business case on regular basis for existing and new products for its applicability and profitability in global market. Coordinates product launching activities and related process across functional departments like Sales, Engineering, Service Provisioning, Finance, Legal etc. Reviews the effectiveness and quality of operations to address process improvements with respect to sales, marketing and customer management.

Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage Internet IP Transit and content (CDN), and Cloud products portfolio to meet the needs of existing and new customer, will be self-driven with the ability to deliver results
- Develop online self-service portal as part of the digital transformation initiatives
- Identifying new service opportunities by Analyzing market dynamics, technological advancements and customer’s business challenges. Recommend and prepare the plan for new Point of Presence, products/features and markets to ensure product relevance and meet changing market needs.
- Manage infrastructure cost structure (internal & external), product profitability and customer value.
- Develop benchmark against competitors’ product offering to improve product features, pricing plan and business processes for new and/or existing services to ensure market competitiveness
- Regularly monitors Network Service quality against target levels and trigger corrective action where necessary in coordination with NOC and Operations.
- Understand market needs; keep abreast of technology developments/trends and competitive situation by bundling IP services and International Capacity.

- Monitor and analyze product performance as well as manage product life cycle to maximize revenue and profitable market share.
- Develop and implement strategies and bundle services to grow revenue in co-ordination with sales
- Develop product policies and ensure consistency of execution internally and externally.
- Ensure compliance to Code of Practice and continuously engage TRA to review the regulatory parameters imposed on the product.
- Ensure that Quality Targets met based on enforcement of an internal SLA with the relevant parties.
- Ensure the regular update of pricing empowerment framework to ensure that we remain price competitive.
- Ensure that Product Awareness and Customer Satisfaction targets are met for the products.
- Ensure that mechanisms are in place to measure and track performance for product related KPI’s.
- Develop functional specifications to initiate and co-ordinate projects with Information Systems departments and related stakeholders for construction or enhancement of IS infrastructure and programs to access and track critical product-related, competitor-related, customer databases and general market intelligence.
- Develop marketing plans, awards submission and participate in exhibitions/conferences (Gitex, Capacity Middle East etc) to promote EMIX, Cloud and IP services.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Engineering
- 6-8 years of experience in product management for carrier & wholesale services candidates must have experience in Product Management, Cloud, CDN and IP services, worked in Telecom Companies or Cloud companies.
