JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Manager - Warehouse & Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse and maintenance activities. This role ensures that all warehouse processes are streamlined, inventory is accurately managed, and maintenance tasks are performed to maintain optimal functionality of equipment and facilities. Must have good knowledge of Diving, Rope Access, Scaffolding, Insulation and project experience to handle.
Warehouse Management:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintenance Management:
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance activities for all equipment and facilities.
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions for repairs and replacements.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Team Leadership:• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and maintenance operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse and maintenance activities with overall business objectives.
Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills for warehouse and maintenance staff.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse and maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry of Hybrid access, Diving & Marine.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
