JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A new exciting opportunity has come up from one of the fastest-growing investment management software solutions providers in the UAE. They are looking for a Managing Director. As the head of the organization, the Managing Director will be tasked with ensuring the company's growth and profitability, creating a positive and productive work environment, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Fintech industry, experience leading a company or division, and a strong track record of success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and profitability for the company.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive business development and revenue growth.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the efficient use of resources and effective execution of
business plans.
• Develop and maintain a high-performance culture within the organization, fostering a positive and productive work
environment.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, setting clear objectives and goals, and driving performance.
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Build a strong brand for the company and ensure that it is recognized as a leader in the Fintech industry.
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide regular updates on the company's performance and direction.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Fintech industry, preferably with investment platform
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Have worked in a newly set up organization
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
• Arabic speaker is preferred but not essential for this role.
• Strong experience in working and managing a Financial Technology company.
• Strong experience in developing and implementing successful sales and business development strategies.
• Strong acumen in producing financial technology product inputs (General or Integrated Fintech platform).
• Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, partners, and employees at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
• A strong understanding of technology and software development processes.
