JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for an intern to join our marketing team. This will be a paid internship for 6 months (upon to renewal).
Responsibilities for Marketing Intern
• Help distribute marketing materials to sub regions
• Help organize marketing events
• Manage and update the company database for EDM
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
• Prepare detailed promotional presentations
• Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events
• Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
• Help in filling pre-qualification forms for vendor registrations
Salary:
AED
3,000 to 3,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and attitude preference for Marketing Intern
• Most important: Must be a good learner and should be eager to learn
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must have a passion for marketing (experience not necessary)
• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms will be an advantage
• Ability to multitask and take initiatives
• Experience in creative writing preferred (but not mandatory)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An MBA fresher preferred (but not mandatory)
• Hands-on experience in designing preferred (but not mandatory)
• Must be good in excel, PowerPoint and word
