JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A strategic Marketing Manager is currently needed by our client, a world-famous beverage business leading in a number of categories for more than a hundred years. The Marketing Manager will be part of an exciting team and company in Dubai where you can implement your ideas and insights to create plans for market and develop high impact results to increase sales and ROI.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing marketing programs and initiatives to deliver against the brand’s annual volume and profit targets
- Regularly evaluate all aspects of brand performance, including shipments and depletions. Effectively consolidate analysis into top line learnings and provide recommended actions when necessary
- Manage execution phase of consumer promotions, merchandising materials, digital/social media assets and events, collaborating with internal and external cross functional teams and agencies
- Develop strong relationships with field sales team to gain better understanding of the business, acting as brand ambassador and offering appropriate support
This is also a multifaceted role in which case internal and external communications will also fall under the successful candidate’s responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Approximately 5-7 years of strong marketing within a restricted (dark market) environment
- Analytical and financial management experience
- Some events or hospitality management experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Accomplished project manager who can multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage a large workload
- Creative thinker who is detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks and deadlines, and effectively prioritize and manage them; strong attention to detail; a team-player who thrives in a fast paced environment with growth opportunities
- Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred; Marketing concentration preferred
