What you'll be doing
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for different functions across 2 multibrand stores as well as travel retail divisions. The Marketing Manager will overview different countries hence we need an ARABIC speaker
Overview
- Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies specifically aimed at driving sales and increasing brand visibility within the retail environment. Collaborating closely with retail teams, brands, and buying departments to create effective promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Build 12-month calendar to support business growth across markets (UAE & Bahrain) including management of key brand budgets and activities
- Own brand launch calendar and brand partnerships (beauty & fashion) - coordinating across departments for the successful roll out of key campaigns
Retail Marketing:
- Retail Strategy Development: Developing strategies to promote brands and launches effectively within retail stores and online.
- Promotional Campaigns: Planning and executing promotional campaigns, including in-store displays, promotions, and special offers to drive sales and increase product visibility based on business requirements.
- Partner Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with malls, hotels, distributors, tourism/retail boards and other partners to ensure alignment with marketing and sales objectives & secure coverage through partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, understand consumer behavior, and track competitor activities within the market.
- Toolkits: Creating and providing training/educational toolkits to retail staff linked to promotions and campaigns to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, analyzing sales data, and KPIs to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Heads of Retail, buying and supply chain, to ensure alignment of trade marketing activities with overall business objectives.
Partnerships
- Main POC between Marketing and Beauty/Buying teams for all marketing needs to ensure smooth collaboration for all channels and functions.
- Serve as lead on government agency partnerships, including DCT, Retail Abu Dhabi, and Miral...
- Main contact for day-to-day needs and marketing collaboration for Yas Mall and Bahrain City Centre.
Instore Experiences
- Ideate and secure engaging in-store experiences. Collaborate with store team on the ground to validate and give feedback on potential activities and experiences to ensure it matches with what our customers are looking for and enjoyCommunications & event management
- Management of PR agency to ensure growth of brand awareness for Tryano & Saks through PR activations and in-store/external events & PR/influencer activations
- Owner of internal communications (Chalhoub Group Internal News) calendar for Tryano and Saks, ensuring brand stay top of mind to employees.
- Lead for Marketing Internal News (within Tryano and Saks) to ensure teams stay updated on key campaigns, activations, and happenings.
- Build and oversee influencer engagement and strategy
Project management
Campaign Management
- Owner of all 360 marketing campaigns, including strategy development, ongoing support and management, rollout/execution, and post campaign results to support comprehensive calendar for both UAE and Bahrain markets. Ensure all teams and key identified leads are staying on track and hitting campaign milestones, delivering on tasks/responsibilities, and communicating to all necessary parties.
Budget
- Owner of content budget to ensure updated tracking for all key functions
Requirements:
What you'll need to succeed- 6 - 8 years of experience in Marketing
- Background in Luxury, Fashion or Beauty
- Proven record for management skills
- Experience with Communications / PR and events
- Experience in Retail Marketing
- Arabic speaking is a MUST
