This is an exciting opportunity to join an instantly recognised, much loved and trusted multinational retail firm here in Dubai. Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their well-established team. They offer a fun and exciting workplace environment and are seeking a bubbly, engaged personality who is passionate about retail and marketing.
The job responsibilities will entail:
• Identifying marketing opportunities via consumer requirements; defining the current market, competitor's share, strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business and establishing a targeted market share.
• Analysing consumer statistics and buying trends in order to develop promotional strategies to help the company meet their financial goals.
• Manage the marketing, advertising and promotional budgets
• Research, identify, capitalise and develop marketing opportunities
• Work closely with the sales team to execute strategic sales plans
• Manage and elevate a strong team, ensuring the international brand standards are met at all times.
• Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational and presentation skills, an analytic mind and the ability to build relationships both at a management & operational level. A degree in marketing, business or economics or similar would be desirable, but not essential. Proven experience managing a team in a retail environment is crucial, as is the ability to work well under pressure and to lead by example. You will be highly detail orientated and possess excellent computer skills in Excel and MS Office.
