JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Reporting to: Store Manager
Objectives: Art of Beauty is seeking a Master Tailor with experience in pattern cutting and garment construction in women’s wear.
Main responsibilities: Will be responsible for alterations and bespoke creations of abayas for clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Specialist knowledge:
- Must be a skilled tailor with experience in sewing jackets, dresses, coats, pants, tops for women.
- Must have experience in stitching with Fine Fabrics (chiffons, silks, wool, jacquard, crepe and couture fabrics) and women’s wear fabrics.
- Knows how to cut and handle professionally Fine Fabrics as well as Juki Machines trained and trained in couture houses or factories.
- Nature and length of previous experience: experience working within factories and workshops for at least 5 years.
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: people person, outgoing, personable, friendly and positive attitude.
Gender Preference: Female
Language Fluency: English is a must and Arabic will also be ideal.
