JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Duties and responsibilities of materials engineer will be diversified but some of the main attributions will be related to advice, coordinate, extract and verify structural MTO’s or to check vendors offers against client/project specifications and to implement classification societies or offshore standards requirements related manufacturing, certification inspections and delivery conditions of materials required during bidding stage or for procurement purpose. Major FPSO project experience is a MUST.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering - MSc).
• Have minimum 10 years’ experience related materials engineering domain.
• Major FPSO project experience is a MUST.
• Capability of studying the technical drawings & documents to assess the material requirements.
