JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This job opportunity is with a leading manufacturing company specializing in urban infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop precise technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical systems and components.
• Ensure drawings align with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to translate design concepts into manufacturable products.
• Optimize designs for fabrication by selecting appropriate materials and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Adhere to project timelines by delivering fabrication drawings within specified turnaround times.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain accuracy and minimize errors in technical drawings.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
• Continuously seek process improvements and implement cost-saving measures in design workflows.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.• At least 5 years of experience in steel manufacturing industries within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of materials such as Mild Steel (MS), Stainless Steel (SS), Aluminum, Timber, and GRP.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality control.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
