JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Responsible to prepare design drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, shop drawings, site layout drawings and as built drawings.
• Able to draft in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Review and analyze project specifications.
• Able to do practical designs and assist with technical problem solving.
• Visit jobsites and take on site measurements to finalize as built drawings, or to develop design layout drawings.
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced environment, and adapt to frequent project changes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the team or independently with minimal oversight.
• Deliver all required drawings in a timely manner. Must meet milestones and project schedule.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with project team in a precise, concise, and unambiguous manner.
REQUIREMENTS
• University degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in GCC.
• Candidate must currently be based in UAE.
• Experience working on complex projects is a plus.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Fluent in English.
