JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the dynamic oil and gas industry in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing mechanical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas facilities.
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other disciplines, such as electrical and civil engineering.
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Overseeing the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Providing technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams to optimize mechanical performance and efficiency.
- Staying updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in all mechanical engineering activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a professional engineering license preferred.- Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific software and tools, such as CAD, CAE, and FEA.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget constraints.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong focus on achieving organizational goals and objectives.
