JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Calculation of quantities of work and cost estimates,
- Check and evaluation of tender documentation,
- Cooperate with the elaboration of method statements and construction schedules specified in the tender documents,
- Perform productivity analysis of construction operations and verify results by staffing and crew analysis of work operations,
- Participate in constructability reviews and develop comparative estimates for alternative solutions – cost, time, and risk.,
- Conceptual planning of construction works (works plan, sequencing, and work preparation),
- Evaluation of risks and opportunities in tenders, including pricing,
- Maintaining a database of estimated unit rates within the discipline: labor, equipment, materials, subs, etc.,
- Post calculation of executed works
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a university,
- A minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience on infrastructure & construction projects,
- Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices,
- Knowledge and experience in EPC estimating practices and methods,
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & REVIT
- Good knowledge of MS Office, planning software “MS Project”,
- Good knowledge of cost estimation systems
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken),
- Team player, self-motivated, persistent with hands-on mentality, intercultural competence.
