JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Receives verbal or written instructions from supervisor as per request of repair from Retail Sales Section, obtain requirements for work and permits to work, gathers materials and proceeds to work sites to carry out the maintenance.
Carries out corrective maintenance and repairs such as (centrifugal pumps, vertical pumps, dispensers, compressors & car-wash machines etc) includes visual inspection of the equipment, reporting and obtaining approval then carrying out necessary repairs by dismantling, assembling, replacement and repair of defective equipments or components.
Carries out the routine preventive and predictive maintenance.
Checks and tests on machinery and equipment according to schedules check lists and specific equipment requirements.
Repairs and /or replaces defect parts, reassembles overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring upon trail.
Reports to supervisor where readings are outside tolerable limits.
Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned by supervisor such as assisting in or carrying out modifications to systems or the installation of new equipment and machinery, and assisting supervisor during the start up and shut down of equipments and systems.
The following equipments are specific to service stations; Candidate must have, if not the same at least similar experience on the following:
Fuel Dispensers, make ( Gilbarco, Tokheim, Dresser Wayne, TATSONO)
Fueling piping, tanks and system. ( under ground horizontal fiber glass, double wall, STP)
Automatic and manual carwash ( Gantry and overhead type) MARK VII and RYCO
Tire Air gauges (mechanical and electronic various brands)
Fire alarm system (several brands)
Fire pumps and engines (various sizes and brands)
Gas detection system (various brands)
Tank gauging Veeder Root system

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Mechanical Machinery field.
3-5 years experience in similar field.
Computer literate.
Good knowledge English languages (spoken & written) Arabic an advantage.
Valid UAE driving license
