Associates Director / Managing Quantity Surveyor - MEP
Up to 60,000 AED Per Month for excellence

Are you a Western Educated Managing Quantity Surveyor / MEP Cost Manager with a wealth of experience in the UAE handling Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing contracts across the Residential & Mixed Use Sector in the United Arab Emirates ?
• You will have clear experience pre & post contract. You will be able to provide insight and cost expertise for Major MEP components.
Can you build close working relationships with Major Developers ?
• You will be handling an MEP Commercial Team of various levels & nationalities.
Can you and the team deliver an effective cost management service from pre contract to handover?
• Our client is after someone that can add value and take clear accountability on the following tasks
• Experience of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement of building works for estimating, report writing and preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
• Procuring, negotiating & driving the Design & Build Process
• Commercial & Contracts experience of: post-contract services, interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension of time claims
• FIDIC contract experience in the UAE
• Confident - able to client face and present at all times
• Full 360 experience of bid, cost plan and commercial final account
• Managing & mentoring your MEP & QS team
Requirements:
Non - Negotiables• Degree in Quantity Surveying (Needed for client sign off)
• Minimum of 7 years post graduate experience
• UAE experience is essential.
• Prior consultancy experience is desired
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management & value engineering
• Knowledge of CostX + BIM needed
• Present monthly and quarterly figures to the client
Salary:
AED
50,000 to 60,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
