MEP Coordinator Engineer (Villas and G+2 Projects)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team, specializing in Villas and G+2 projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, particularly with main contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Lead and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works on site.
• Serve as the primary link between Civil and MEP to ensure seamless integration and project execution.
• Manage and ensure the completion of projects from inception to handover.
Technical Expertise:
• Utilize AutoCAD and Primavera P6 for planning, designing, and managing project timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure all MEP activities comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Strong experience in Testing and Commissioning for MEP Services
Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain and update all project documentation, including drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Follow up on Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and obtain necessary clearances.
Analytical and Problem-Solving:
• Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate project requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Address and resolve any conflicts or challenges related to MEP works.
Requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in villas and G+2 projects.• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Electrical Systems: Demonstrated experience in electrical system installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Main Contractor Background: Previous experience working with main contractors is essential.
• Documentation: Strong documentation skills, ensuring all project documents are up to date and accurate.
• Project Cycle: Experience in managing projects through the full cycle, from start to completion.
• Coordination: Ability to coordinate and manage MEP works efficiently.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary:
AED
7,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
