JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Prepare detail drawings of mechanical system designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided as per project guidelines.
- Prepare all electrical shop drawing as per authority standard and regulation.
- Preparation of plumbing drawing as per DM regulation and standard mainly with respect to project specification and guide lines.
- Coordinate and in cooperate the work and fed back provided by other Engineers, surveyors and other professionals involved in the project.
- Compile Mechanical engineering data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required to complete Mechanical drawings.
- Use Computer-aided drafting equipment and software (AUTOCAD, Revit) to produce 2D & 3D drawings, sections elevations and calculations.
- Liaising with other design team members to ensure proper design coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree/Diploma in drafting/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.- Minimum 6 years demonstrable experience as a MEP Draftsman.
- Proficiency with design software (AUTOCAD and Revit)
- Excellent understanding of construction industry infrastructure MEP design
- Able to generate Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing design drawings.
- Though knowledge of mechanical, Electrical and plumbing system design regulations codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative abilities.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
