JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join a tier one contractor in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of construction projects for a main contractor in the construction industry. This role requires exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality MEP solutions within specified timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate MEP activities for construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems
- Manage and lead a team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement MEP project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP work progress, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to address MEP-related issues, resolve conflicts, and provide technical support and expertise
- Ensure that all MEP installations and systems meet industry standards, local regulations, and client requirements
- Manage MEP project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and related administrative tasks
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving initiatives in MEP project delivery

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating project teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management, scheduling, and MEP design
- Certification or professional membership in relevant industry associations or institutions is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical and operational challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under pressure

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
