About Our Client: Our client, a leading manufacturing fashion company specializing in wholesale men’s and women’s apparel, is renowned for its high-quality products and strong customer relationships. They are committed to delivering excellence in fashion and are seeking a talented Merchandising Manager to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to lead their merchandising team, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and negotiation skills, a keen eye for product enhancements, and the ability to manage complex production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the merchandising team to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, maximizing business growth and opportunities.
• Liaise with customers to provide excellent service, addressing their specific needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements and margin improvements.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for merchandise.
• Explore and source new factories, maintaining a strong network to meet current and future business needs.
• Monitor ongoing production closely to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage orders with factories and coordinate with internal teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
• Lead the merchandising team in daily operations, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Textile & Clothing or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of solid merchandising experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the garments trading industry.
• Familiarity with the South American, European markets, or experience with medium to low-end products is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in vendor selection and production operations, particularly in Bangladesh, India, and China, is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent planning, organizing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
