JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Merchandise Planning and Purchasing:
- Based on market demand and sales data, formulate merchandise purchasing and spending plan.
- Establish and maintain good cooperative relationship with upstream companies/suppliers to ensure the stability and quality of merchandise supply.
- Conduct merchandise selection, price negotiation and purchase order management.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor merchandise inbound and outbound inventory to ensure reasonable inventory and avoid overstocking or out-of-stock.
- Analyze inventory data, optimize inventory structure and improve inventory turnover.
- Develop and implement inventory counting plan to ensure that the accounts are in line with the real.
Data analysis and reporting:
- Analyze sales data and market trends, provide decision support for new product purchasing and old product replenishment.
- Prepare merchandise operation reports to report work results and operation status.
- Research competitors and local market dynamics to adjust merchandise strategy.
Warehouse and Logistics Supervision
- Regularly inspect the warehouse and randomly check the inventory and warehouse operation process, and report the problems in the warehouse in a timely manner.
- According to the feedback from stores and actual sales, adjust the delivery cycle and time, as well as the control of delivery volume.
- According to the sales and inventory situation of the stores, deliver the goods to the stores as needed. Ensure that the store receives the goods on time to protect the sales needs of the store.
- Supervision of store operation and merchandise display
- Regularly visit stores and check the rationality of store inventory management and display. Timely reporting of store problems.
- Provide feedback on unreasonable arrangement of the store from the merchandise point of view.
Requirements:
- Have atleast 1-3 years of experience in merchandise operation of chain shoes and apparel brands/mother and baby care is preferred; love to study merchandise.- Have the ability of data statistics and analysis, high sensitivity to data, able to extract key information, according to the business situation, to develop the appropriate market decision
- Can skillfully use excel and other data analysis tools
- Have strong learning ability, execution, subjective initiative
