JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for Technicians to ensure necessary repairs are carried out as per the standard specification ensuring minimum downtime and resolution defects resulting in customer satisfaction. The technician will analyze all repairs and maintenance of Toyota Forklift and BT Warehouse Equipment

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- General repairs on customer site and in company workshop on different types of warehouse and forklifts

- Produce consistently high quality of work to ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction.

- Ability to read service manuals and understand electrical drawings and fault finding procedures

- Ability to understand and implement manufacturer's standard working instructions within specified repair times

- To be able to demonstrate knowledge of components & systems including electrics & hydraulics

- Liaison with the Workshop Foreman to ensure timely availability of parts for repair works and report discrepancies to Line Manager in a timely manner.

- Make cost effective use of materials and available timeframe in order to maintain the highest productivity levels.

- Remain abreast with latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the industry in relation to BOP and Materials Handling and equipment and ensures workshop and or service vehicle is tidy and tool boxes are kept to the required standards.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role must have minimum 3 year industry experience in Material Handling Equipment. UAE drive License. Must show proven technical experience in servicing and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment. Excellent communication skills in English language. As much of the work is field-based, self-motivation, flexibility and professional attitude are essentials. You should have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with customer.. Arabic speaker would be an advantage.
