JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

SharePoint Administrator - Emerging Markets

Halian International, a global IT services business, is urgently hiring for SharePoint Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Exchange. Based out of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, this will be an initial 6 months’ contract to permanent employment and working for one of the world’s leading Manufacturing company.

As a SharePoint Administrator, you will be working with our client and part of their technical development team to manage the day to day administration prerequisites of Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint operations. Part of the responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Install, configure, maintain, administer, and migrate servers within a Windows environment.
• Exchange Access Administration
• Handle & escalate Exchange mail related tickets
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts / Patch Exchange infrastructure
• SharePoint Administration & maintenance
• Responsible for the architecture, design and development of the SharePoint components (web parts, feature sets and custom site templates, etc.)
• Perform Disaster Recovery and testing

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, the ideal candidate must have skills in Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint platforms. To qualify for the 1st stage of interview, you must possess the following skills and experience;
• At least 3-5 years of general Windows system administration experience
• In-depth daily administration experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013 required
• In-depth daily administration experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 required (2013 in future)
• Experience designing and deploying Exchange installations
• Experience with SCOM – Exchange monitoring
• Extensive SharePoint Knowledge & Experience
• Solid Application Developer/Software Developer Experience in SharePoint
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Strong technical, problem-solving and reasoning skills required
• Experience working in a virtual team-oriented, collaborative environment
