JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Creative Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative and impactful concepts that align with client objectives and target audiences.
• Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials, including advertisements, website content, social media posts, blog articles, brochures, and other promotional materials.
• Social Media Captions: Create engaging and compelling captions for social media posts that resonate with the target audience and effectively communicate the desired message.
• Brand Messaging: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client brands, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging across all communication channels.
• Research and Market Analysis: Conduct research and gather relevant information to develop a thorough understanding of client industries, target audiences, competitors, and the GCC market.
• Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, art directors, and designers to ensure cohesive integration of copy and visuals in advertising campaigns.
• Client Collaboration: Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand their needs, provide creative input, and present copy concepts and ideas.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines and client requirements.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging platforms to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the agency's work.
• Client Presentations: Present copy ideas and concepts to clients, articulating the creative rationale and addressing feedback and revisions as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in mass communication, journalism, marketing, advertising, or a related field.• Strong command of both English and Arabic (formal and informal).
• Proven experience (5 years) as a copywriter, preferably in an advertising agency or marketing department.
• Exceptional writing skills, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Strong creative thinking and conceptualization abilities.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research.
• Understanding of the GCC market and its unique cultural and consumer dynamics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skill
