JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, is dedicated to empowering clients, people, and communities to tackle the world’s most significant challenges. With a focus on delivering innovative expertise and technology, they help manage aging infrastructure, demographic shifts, population changes, and the energy transition.
They are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresh graduate UAE National to join their team in Dubai as a NOC Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in network operations. The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage network operations from the Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Ensure the availability and stability of network systems and services.
- Respond to network issues and incidents on time.
- Perform regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal network performance.
- Troubleshoot network issues, and escalate to senior engineers when necessary.
- Maintain and update network documentation, including logs, reports, and configurations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve network-related issues.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
- Participate in routine system backups, software updates, and patches.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of network upgrades or enhancements.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate with a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- Strong knowledge of network principles, systems, and protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Good understanding of basic network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- UAE National preferred.
