Experienced Occupational Health & Safety Manager required. We are searching for professional Occupational Health & Safety Manager to join the team within Atlantis The Palm, Dubai. The role would best suit a candidate from within another large hospitality/hotel organization who is interested in applying their skills within the largest 5 star resort hotel in the Middle East. Reporting directly into the Director of Health and Safety you will be working alongside a Food Safety Manager and supported by a team of 2 x Officers.

Job Summary: To manage the operational application, monitoring and enforcement of all health and safety programs in place in the Resort and Employee Residences to ensure the highest standard and best practices are implemented in terms of Occupational Health & Safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all health and safety programs are successfully deployed and functioning at the Resort and Employee Residences.
- Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of the health and safety programs.
- To assess, investigate and report on health and safety incidents and manage the corrective and responsive actions with all relevant departments.
- To act as technical specialist in HSE related matters.
- Adopt a proactive and pre-emptive approach to managing risk,
- Proactively identify health and safety short comings & development needs.
- Monitor and pre-empt changes to local requirements and adapt established training and communications processes accordingly.
- Monitor accident and incident reports to formulate a trend analysis and proactively apply the necessary corrective or preventative measures.
- Review and monitor emergency procedures, systems application and testing.
- Conduct regular compliance assessments of health and safety program.
- Develop and present function specific health and safety training programs working in conjunction with the Training and Development Department
- Ensure health and safety training programs are implemented in all departments and conduct training session audits.
- Utilize established systems, processes and training programs to further improve Departmental goals.
- Liaise with all department heads on issues relating to the application of health and safety programs and assess each department/function development needs.
- Provide administrative, management and technical support to the Manager, Food Safety and Hygiene and Assistant Manager, Medical Service.
- Attend management meetings as required and actively participate in functional process of the Health and Safety departments.
