• Post-trauma with permanent severe disability
• Post C1-C4 fracture requiring long term ventilation
• Children with congenital disorders requiring mechanical ventilation or high levels of respiratory support
• Neuromuscular diseases affecting independent respiration, including:
• Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
• Spinal Muscular Dystrophy
• Guillian Barr Syndrome
• Myasthenia Gravis
• Multiple Sclerosis

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
Role:
• Occupational Therapist
Desired Qualifications/Certifications:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Occupational Therapy minimum of 3 years course duration.
• Or Direct Entry to a recognized program with attainment of a MSc degree in Occupational Therapy
Current National License or membership in a recognized international registration board; Basic Life support (BLS); clinical experience in wheelchair seating in adults/pediatrics, splinting or casting, developmental screening with pediatrics and community based experience in treating adult patients with neurological disorders.
License:
• Eligible for Department of Health License or transferable UAE license as an Occupational Therapist.
Preferred Experience:
• Not less than 3 years as an Occupational Therapist in an acute hospital or community based rehabilitation setting.
