Role overview

This role supports the end-to-end execution of complex industrial and project logistics movements. The candidate will work closely with the Operations / Projects Manager to plan, coordinate, and monitor multi-modal shipments ensuring accurate documentation, smooth execution, and strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Project & operational coordination

  • Coordinate tailored logistics value propositions and support solution design, costing, and pricing for complex project cargo - covering ocean, air, road, and barge movements.
  • Handle day-to-day project administration including KPI tracking, reporting, billing progress, and milestone monitoring.
  • Track shipment progress in line with the approved logistics plan and keep all relevant parties (customer, vendors, customs broker, internal teams) updated.
  • Coordinate directly with project suppliers and partners across the entire life cycle of the project.
  • Assist in evaluating shipment options, presenting scenarios, and briefing senior leadership on project status and exceptions.

Cargo & compliance expertise

  • Work with heavy-lift (H/L) and over-dimensional cargo (ODC) ensuring adherence to HSEQ standards and project-specific handling requirements.
  • Maintain operational control and coordination across multiple stations/locations to ensure consistent execution and communication.

Documentation control

  • Maintain accurate data files, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for pricing, routing updates, and dispatch arrangements.
  • Support rating, billing, and project-related invoicing activities.
  • Keep organized, audit-ready documentation and records for internal and customer use.
  • Handle additional operational tasks as assigned.

Physical requirements

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
