JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the trading industry. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes within the operations department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor operations activities and logistics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the flow of information and resolve any operational issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of trading transactions, inventory, and operational metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management, highlighting key operational performance indicators.
- Support the team in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage scheduling and coordination of meetings, ensuring that all participants are informed and prepared.
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
- Act as a point of contact for vendors and clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.- Proven experience in an operations coordination or administrative role, preferably in the trading or beauty industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with operational software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of trading processes and market dynamics is a plus.
- Fluency in English or is required; proficiency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SAP a plus.
