JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee and enhance our tourism operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring we provide exceptional and seamless experiences for our clients while driving operational efficiency and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the tourism industry and a proven track record in operations leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals and enhance operational performance.
- Oversee daily operations of the tourism business, ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to create cohesive and customer-centric travel experiences.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
- Build and sustain relationships with local partners, vendors, and tourism boards to expand offerings and improve service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adapting operations to keep the organization competitive in the market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.- Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations management within the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and driving performance.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in operations management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
