With the Middle Easts economic recovery well entrenched and gaining considerable pace, this is the opportunity to take a senior role in contributing to the next business level of an already successful global engineering brand in infrastructure services
Our client is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure services consultancy firm whose operations span across the UK, Europe, Middle East & Australasia.
With this in mind, our client is investing in a business critical appointment of Operations Director to join and drive further the Marine project business.
Reporting to the MENA Managing Director, and with the support of an established Marine team in Europe - you will be responsible for front end representation of the Maritime/Marine projects business in the Middle East.
Accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Lead marketing, bidding, winning, planning and delivery of Maritime projects for the region
- Meet growth targets set by Business Unit Director
P&L Accountability:
- Raise and prompt the profile of the firms Maritime capabilities in the Middle East
- Building the Middle East Maritime team and its subsequent management

REQUIREMENTS
- Industry relevant higher education qualification (degree)
- Professional Membership affiliations and/or relevant Chartered qualified
- Demonstrated senior knowledge & experience in delivering Maritime projects; container terminals, cruise terminals, energy terminals, waterfront development & coastal engineering, boat harbours & Marinas
- Strong understanding of the consultancy market and client facing capacity.
- Experience in the Middle East marine projects and consultant environment is highly desirable
