JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Operations Geologist for an Oil and Gas Company in Uae
• Manage and coach wellsite geologists
• Ensure the formation data are planned and acquired safely and optimally
• Accountable in regards to HSE, for accurate planning and reporting of Well proposals
• Supervise Mud Logging, Electric Wireline, VSP, and Coring Contractors to ensure data is being gathered and recorded to meet the Well objectives
• Communicate operational geology data to the exploration and drilling departments
REQUIREMENTS
• Open to ANY nationalities
• Male/Female, 50 years old and below
• Candidates in UAE are preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or any related degree
• Minimum 20 years in oil field experience working for oil & gas operators
• Background in oil & gas industry is an advantage
• Have a strong background in well site operations and drilling ops and fractured carbonate reservoirs experience in the Middle East
• Strong leadership and communication skills
