JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Partner with a focus on Arbitration and Energy to join our prestigious law firm in Dubai, UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex arbitration cases and a deep understanding of the energy sector. As a Partner, you will play a key role in leading and growing our arbitration and energy practice, while providing strategic counsel to our clients and contributing to the firm's overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the arbitration and energy practice, providing strategic direction and guidance to the team
- Handle a diverse portfolio of arbitration cases with a focus on the energy sector, including disputes related to contracts, investments, and regulatory matters
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while actively seeking opportunities to expand the firm's client base
- Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients on arbitration and energy-related matters, ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services
- Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients with complex needs
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments related to arbitration and the energy sector
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in seminars, conferences, and networking events to promote the firm's expertise
Salary:
AED
60,000 to 85,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed attorney with a strong academic background in law, preferably with a focus on arbitration and energy
- Proven experience as a Partner or a senior-level attorney in a reputable law firm, with a demonstrated track record in handling complex arbitration cases and advising clients in the energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of international arbitration rules and procedures, as well as a solid understanding of the energy industry and its legal complexities
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior lawyers
- Strong business acumen and a successful track record in business development and client relationship management
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and persuasive manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages, particularly Arabic, would be an advantage
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
