JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Partner to join our prestigious law firm in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and growing our practice, providing top-tier legal services to our clients, and contributing to the overall success and reputation of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of lawyers and support staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the highest quality of legal services and client care.
- Drive business development and client relationship management efforts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in complex and high-profile matters, demonstrating a deep understanding of relevant legal principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and decision-making processes of the firm, working collaboratively with other partners and senior leadership to drive innovation, growth, and operational excellence.
- Stay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and market dynamics, leveraging this knowledge to inform and enhance the firm's legal services, client offerings, and competitive positioning.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity, upholding the firm's reputation for excellence and serving as a role model for junior professionals and staff.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success as a Partner or senior-level legal professional within a reputable law firm, with a strong portfolio of legal achievements, client wins, and business development initiatives.- Extensive experience and expertise in a specific legal practice area or industry sector, with a deep understanding of the nuances, complexities, and challenges inherent to that area of law.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a team of legal professionals to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results for clients.
- Outstanding business acumen and commercial awareness, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, manage financial performance, and contribute to the strategic evolution of a law firm or professional services organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, lead high-stakes negotiations, and represent the firm with authority, credibility, and professionalism.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a willingness to stay updated on legal trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to remain at the forefront of the legal profession.
- Qualified to practice law in the UAE with a valid license to practice as a Partner, with an in-depth understanding of local laws, regulations, and legal procedures relevant to the Abu Dhabi market.
Salary:
AED
60,000 to 100,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Will be partly dependent on book of business
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
