Personal Assistant

Job Purpose
Responsible for organizing and managing office operations and providing full administrative and secretarial support and providing the necessary administrative support and assistance to the Heads of Divisions and to Managers and staff in allocated department so as to ensure the smooth running of the unit on a day to day basis. Handle a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a large office of diverse people and programs. Interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification & Education
The job holder should be educated to a high level, preferably to diploma or degree level.
Experience
At least four years' experience in a PA role to a senior level manager.
Knowledge
The job holder works closely with top level management within the organisation and key external organisation including government on a day to day basis. The jobholder will be expected to build strong professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholder such as The Executive Management Teams where they will be required to handle sensitive and confidential information within the organization.
