Our newest opportunity is for a talented Planning Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi.

This position is responsible for ensuring project delivery in line with client requirements through the development of a project wide WBS. Duties will also include developing and maintaining a detailed master schedule, procurement and logistics plans and supporting and working with consultants and contractors to develop their contractual schedules.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Demonstrated knowledge of design, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards.
- Study of the incoming RFPs / Bid documentation
- Preparation of a summary list of pertinent facts to assist Bid, including Go / No Go decision making
- Estimations of staff requirement in line with the scope of the RFP
- Preparation of staff loading/deployment schedules
- Preparation of Financial Models
- Interaction with senior management and business units for approval.
- Communication of the final commercial input with the Bid submission team
- Preparing and managing project programs, project plans and schedules
- Prepare project reports, project procedural plans and analysing information.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 - 10 year's work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Construction or Civil Engineering.

- Ability to effectively interact at all levels and throughout the business.
- Strong presentation skills.
- High level of communications skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong editing skills with the ability to be to edit template write ups to make them project specific
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Microsoft office, Primavera and Microsoft Project applications knowledge is essential. Power BI skills would be an advantage.
