JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
* Preparing Preliminary/Tender Schedules.
* Develop, Update, Monitor & Report- Project Baseline Schedule to cover all activities of the project to meet the client’s project goals, objectives & milestones.
* Preparation of Cost loaded and Resource loaded schedule – to establish the Cash flow (S Curve) and Manpower Histogram (S Curve for Man-hours/ Man-days)
* Preparation of Periodic Reports (Weekly, Biweekly & Monthly) for the client/company management.
* Preparation of Revised Programs, Recovery/Accelerated/ Mitigation programs.
* Performing Earned Value Analysis to Measure the Project Performance in terms of cost.
* Preparation of Different Look ahead Schedules.
* Tracking Variations & its time impact on the original program.
* Analysis of Change Order and Delay Events to reflect in the impact programs as part of claim submissions.
* Preparation of Delay Notices and Interim Time Claims/ Events Implementing FIDIC, closely monitoring the event and then submit the Final Claim in liaise with Commercial Manager and Project Manager.
* Initiation / Responding to all Planning /Time related correspondence to Consultant / Subcontractors.
* Analysis of Subcontractor claims for validity.
* Review Schedules with Project Team Members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.
* Liaison with the Consultant and Client to follow up the project progress.
* Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and updating on regular basis.
* Identifying and Reporting Potential Critical activities to Project manager ensuring proper control for the progress.
* Preparation of Material Tracking Log to control the delivery of the Materials to the site on time when required to avoid potential delays in procurement (mainly long-lead Items).

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a Planning Engineer having at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in similar role in civil construction industry in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will work under Project Management and Control and should possess strong exposure in project planning and scheduling and executing contracts and claims.

The Planning Engineer should possess excellent leadership qualities with high command in communication, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, team building and organizational abilities. A sound knowledge of Primavera software is a must.
