Planning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Managing the schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities.
• Overseeing the scheduling activities for large projects with a demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems.
• Developing the overall P6 schedule in line with Contract Requirements.
• Preparing and submitting the programme master schedule.
• Preparing plan for the works (design, procurement, construction, test commission and into use) to guide consultants/contractors providing the Consultants and Contractors with key decision dates.
• Maintaining & updating the schedule in line with contractors’ updates and contract changes.
• Working with the PM and site construction team ensuring that the operational constraints, logistics and phasing considerations are reflected in the master schedule.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

• Providing the schedule input to the procurement documentation & technical input to tender preparation and evaluation with period progress updates.
• Minimum of 5 years experience coupled with a track record in working with a Developer and/or Main Contractors
• Degree educated in Engineering or similar
• Ideally a solid background with Clients and/or Tier 1 Contractors
• Excellent command of English Written/Communication skills
• Candidates must have prior UAE Experience
• Excellent P6 Skills
• This role will be based in Dubai
