Company overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced planning engineer to join our client's team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to establish project timelines and milestones

Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues

Analyze project data and provide regular reports to the project team and management

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential delays

Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling

Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards

Continuously improve project planning processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the modular buildings industry

Proficient in Primavera P6 and other scheduling software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies

Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and techniques

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Willingness to travel and work onsite as required
