Planning Engineer Interior Fit-Out

Job description:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented planning engineer for a reputed interior fit-out company based in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 4 years of proven experience in project planning within the interior fit-out industry and must be capable of managing timelines, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the smooth execution of multiple concurrent projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress and prepare status reports highlighting any risks, delays, or deviations.
• Plan resources, materials, and manpower in alignment with project deadlines.
• Review project drawings and BOQs to align planning output with site requirements.
• Track variations and update schedules accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 4 years of UAE experience in project planning within the interior fit-out industry.
• Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Good knowledge of construction workflow, material sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
