JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our Leading Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced MEP Planning Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on producing a time impact analysis and assist in claim preparation new high rise and hospitality projects in the region. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an MEP Planning Engineer on Major high rise and hospitality projects in the UAE, a thorough understanding of TIA and claim preparation and have a proven track record of working in recognised companies in the UAE previously.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
• You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing delay analysis, EoT and assisting in related claims. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in planning, delay analysis methodologies, and construction claims preparation.
• Production of a detailed time impact analysis
• Conduct comprehensive forensic analysis of project schedules, identifying critical path activities, delays, and disruptions.
• Scrutinize schedule data to pinpoint deviations from the planned timeline and determine root causes of schedule variances.
• Analyze delay impacts on project milestones, completion dates, and costs, assessing concurrent delays and quantifying their implications.
• Lead the preparation and review of Extension of Time (EoT) claims, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and providing evidence-based support.
• Prepare detailed forensic reports outlining schedule analyses, delay impacts, and causation factors.
• Collaborate with legal and construction teams, providing technical support during claim preparation and defence, and offer expert witness testimony in legal proceedings and dispute resolution forums.
Requirements:
MEP Planning Engineer (TIA and Claim Preparations) Experience:• Degree in Engineering (4 years course)
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Office, MS Project, and fluent English.
• Preferably certified PMI-SP or PSP.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• 8-10+ years of experience as Senior Planning Engineer; Delay Analyst, Forensic Planner and construction claims.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise in working on claims.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
