Our newest opportunity is for a Plumbing Fire Fighting BIM Technician to join our award-winning team. The position will be for a short term contract for a period of 6 months with a possibility of being extended and is due to commence on April 2023. Potential candidates will be working remotely from their home country. This position is responsible for creating, collating and managing building information models to ensure that information and coordination integrity are in compliance with project deliverables.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Preparing Plumbing Firefighting design, sketches, diagrams, schedmatic drawings, working drawings, develop details etc. in Revit.
- Ensuring the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination on BIM of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.
- Documenting BIM models.
- Executing amendments to prepared models taking into account any changes/modifications on initial design.
- Maintain log of models of all relevant design projects as per QMS and/or project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will ideally include a minimum of 2 years' work experience partnered with a Diploma in any Engineering discipline and a BIM Certificate from reputable organisation .

It is expected the successful candidate will be a proficient user of AutoCAD / REVIT software and be able to understand / interpret MEP building services engineering design sketches and calculations as well as understand Architectural and Civil / Structural drawings.

Preferred candidates will manage the complete multi-disciplinary coordination.

English communication skills will be required at a professional level.
