The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shariu2019ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
Portfolio management
Own and manage the segment portfolio including overall liability, assets and wealth book growth in order to enable achievement of the established targets and objectives
Leverage customer analytics and database marketing to maximise cross sell/deep sell/up sell ratios
Monitor the portfolio and initiate portfolio actions (in consultation with Business Intelligence Unit), to help achieve portfolio key performance indicators (KPIs), increase customer engagement, ensure quarter on quarter growth in net promoter score (NPS)
Develop, launch and monitor customer facing tactical campaigns in order to create awareness and grow the segment portfolio
Carry out regular reviews of fees/charges and interest rates offered on liability and asset products in order to enable updating the fees as required
Develop and monitor management information systems to control and monitor performance of the portfolio, operating expenditure, service levels and to provide accurate management reports
Relationship management
Manage and build key relationships with ADCBu2019s internal stakeholders (product team, distribution channels, operations, legal, compliance, marketing etc.) for the coordination of assigned portfolio related programmes, processes and initiatives in order to ensure that these relationships continuously serve the banku2019s best interests and support the achievement of the objectives
Budget management
Contribute to the preparation of the business areau2019s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
People management
Manage self and team in line with ADCBu2019s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
Policies, processes, systems and procedures
Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
Continuous improvement
Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the banku2019s standards
Customer service
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the banku2019s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
5+ years in UAE retail banking with portfolio management expertise
Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, commerce or business administration or relevant specialization
Microsoft Office (MS) skills
Prior experience in retail customer portfolio P&L management, customer lifecycle management (digitally) and capable of picking up AI use cases
Knowledge in product cross-sell strategy, customer retention and attrition management & lifecycle campaigns and loyalty programs
Planning, analytical and time management skills
Digital customer acquisition (Hayyak, mobile, internet banking)
Written and verbal English communication skills
In depth technical knowledge of retail banking products and services
Numerical and financial analysis skills

Competitive salary: The indicative pay range for this role is AED 25,000 u2013 AED 38,000 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
