JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design of breakwaters, revetments and coastal protection, marinas, beaches and scour protection.
- Inspect and evaluate condition of marine infrastructure (breakwaters, piers, quay walls)
- Prepare, manage and review bathymetric surveys, sediment sampling and water quality testing
- Prepare, manage and review marine geotechnical investigations
- Hydrodynamic modeling (near-shore wave conditions, wave transformation, wave disturbance, sediment transport)
- Technical report writing (feasibility, concept, detailed)
- Prepare and deliver presentations
- Prepare proposals
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree in Coastal or Marine Engineering
- 15 - 20 years experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Familiarity of industry practices and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of current technology to be able to apply appropriate engineering software
