Qualification
Minimum B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering highly preferred
Experience
- 18+ years of relevant offshore structural engineering experience
- Proven expertise in leading complex offshore structural design projects
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
Technical skills and knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, USFOS, or equivalent
- Deep understanding of international codes (e.g., API RP 2A, AISC) and operator/client standards (e.g., ADNOC, TOTAL)
- Extensive experience in jackets, piled foundations, topside modules, integrated decks, bridges, flare structures, pipeline risers
- Installation engineering experience including float-over/float-off operations
- Expertise in constructability reviews and brownfield modifications
- In-service and pre-service structural analyses
- Strong background in weight control engineering, including estimates and reporting
Leadership and interface management
- Lead technical coordination with project management teams, client representatives, certification authorities, subcontractors, and global work-share offices
- Drive quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases including conceptual, FEED, EPC, and EPIC
