Reporting into the Director - Sales Consulting, Financial Services for MEA, you will be responsible for supporting our Sales and Account Management team in the Middle-East and Africa region in explaining the value proposition of our product range within our Risk & Finance offerings, across Risk Transformation, Finance Modernization, Data Monetization, Balance Sheet Optimization, Profitability Management, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting.

Description - What You'll Do

- Identify customer challenges and position our Risk & Finance solutions to business users and C-level decision makers.
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs, meet customers, and the follow-up for any customer engagement.
- Delivering successful demonstrations and Proof of Concept for our product range for the solution in scope.
- Work with the sales team in identifying strategy for a given account and region.
- Lead opportunities and manage teams of cross-functional experts, product owners and consulting resources to deliver end-to-end sales support for opportunities.
- Keep abreast of local and global developments in the field of Financial Services Risk & Finance, specializing in Enterprise Risk Management, Performance, Profitability, Regulatory Reporting & Compliance requirements, Artificial Intelligence, Data Management et al.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Risk and Finance functions and present strong business propositions backed by Oracle's offering for these functions.
- Take ownership of solution design and architecture throughout the sales journey
- Build and execute Sales Plays based on industry demands and product strategy.
- Assist sales in business development and pipeline generation.
- Represent Oracle in industry and marketing events.
- Publish blogs, whitepapers, articles and speak at events to exhibit thought leadership.

What You'll Bring

A seasoned financial services professional with minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Consulting, Presales, ideally MBA qualified with solid domain knowledge.

- Strong experience in financial services risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives (Basel, IFRS 9, Credit risk, Market risk FRTB, Liquidity risk, Stress Testing, ICAAP, Risk Modeling (PD/LGD/VaR/CVaR/ECap), RAROC, Reg Reporting, IFRS 17 et al )
- Experience would have been in pre-sales for a technology company within financial services or alternatively for an auditing or consulting firm, or in a Bank handling these functions
- Certifications like FRM, PRMIA, CFA, CA demonstrating expertise in Risk & Finance, Accounting etc.
- U nderstanding of Finance/Treasury functions (Asset Liability Management, Transfer Pricing, Profitability, Balance Sheet management, Accounting, Reconciliation, Fin Reporting etc.)
- Understanding of the underlying banking processes and best practices related to these functions
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, Cloud architecture) and AI / ML modeling etc. will be a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to CXOs and business heads and ability to interact effectively with different levels of management and business users
- The candidate is expected to spend a significant portion of their time travel and meeting with clients face to face across Middle East and Africa
- Sales flair to enable consultative and value selling
- Appreciation of technology and ability to relate to customer needs
- Team player as well as excellent people management skills
- Independent problem solving skills
- Ability to operate in undefined and self-service environment
- Fluent in English. Arabic and French skills desirable.
