JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is partnered with a leading investment manager in Abu Dhabi who is looking to add a Private Equity Manager into their investment management team. This role sits centrally within their private equity teams.
The Private Equity Manager will be responsible for the full deal life cycle of both PE and Infra deals. This will include transaction sourcing and origination, due diligence, execution, portfolio monitoring and value creation. This role will have the opportunity to sit on executive boards of large cap companies.
The team focus solely on principal investments and cover direct, co-investment and fund to fund transactions. The firm manages multi-billion dollars of capital and focus on GCC deals alongside global deals as well.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have at least 8 years’ transaction experience across PE or Investment Banking, ideally gained within a large asset manager or bank.
Holding a CFA or MBA qualification would be a strong advantage and previous work experience on both direct and fund to fund deals is a must. Having a generalist coverage with some infrastructure exposure would be highly desirable.
