About the Role
Position Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our UAE-based client, a reputable family in the United Arab Emirates who are seeking a highly experienced and discreet Personal Household/Villa Manager to oversee the seamless operation of home-residences primarily within the United Arab Emirates and occasionally internationally.
This role requires a proactive, modest, and service-oriented individual with a deep understanding of household management, UAE customs, and lifestyle coordination. The successful candidate will ensure excellence in staffing, property upkeep, personal support, wellness logistics, wardrobe and pet care, and daily family schedule management.
Core Responsibilities:
Household Operations & Staff Leadership:
• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of private family residence.
• Lead, supervise, and schedule the work of household staff including housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, drivers, and children care-takers with hands on approach.
• Substitute members of the Team as a back-up team member.
• Ensure that homes are always maintained to highest hospitality standards
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors for home maintenance and improvement projects
• Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion regarding all aspects of the family's personal life and assets
Daily transport Schedule Management:
• Coordinate with daily schedules and assignments of the family driver
• Coordinate all transportation logistics for family members, guests and staff
• Prepare and oversee daily family itineraries and appointments
Lifestyle & Personal Support:
• Provide discreet and anticipatory support for the principal and their grown-up children
• Organize and maintain wardrobes, manage laundry, dry cleaning, and travel packing
• Coordinate private family events, social engagements, and personal home shopping
• Handle guest arrangements with a warm and culturally appropriate approach
Health & Well-being Coordination:
• Schedule and accompany (if required) family members to medical appointments and health checkups
• Liaise with premium clinics and wellness providers across the UAE for urgent or preventive care
• Monitor household hygiene and dietary practices, including supporting meal planning or personal individual cooking as needed
• Maintain first-aid readiness and awareness of individual family health preferences or sensitivities
Support for Children:
• Coordinate academic, extracurricular, and wellness support for grown-up or school-age children
• Support educational planning and provide logistical assistance with school communications and scheduling
• Ensure a respectful and nurturing environment that supports intellectual, emotional, and personal development
Pet Care:
• Oversee the care of household dogs, including feeding, walking, grooming, and veterinary needs
• Coordinate pet-related services and appointments, and maintain a safe and loving environment for pets
Logistics & Inventory Management:
• Track inventories, household supplies, home required goods, and pet items — ordering as needed
• Maintain oversight of petty cash and ensure expense tracking and reporting
• Be prepared for accommodating family household needs by travelling on a business trip outside of the UAE / not frequent
• Additional household management task could be assigned upon family’s requirement
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior household or estate management role with well established families.• Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field is highly desirable
• Strong background in team leadership, schedule management, and cooking and hospitality
• Highly organized and solution-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities
• Modest behavior, impeccable etiquette, and adhere to an appropriate dress code in line with the expectations of a household and the cultural values of the region
• Deep understanding and appreciation of UAE culture, values, and traditional family structure
• Fluent in English
• Discreet, trustworthy, and proactive — able to handle sensitive matters with integrity
• Experience with pet care
