JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
* Understand the project scope and identify the necessary Deliverable including estimation of man hours for Process discipline.
* Generate PFDs and P&IDs ensuring inter-discipline coordination, Client engagement and compliance to Mott MacDonald's quality standards.
* Generate calculations necessary for hydraulics, surge analysis, equipment sizing, relief valve sizing, utility assessment
* Generate equipment data sheets and provide the necessary input to Electrical, Piping, Mechanical and Instrumentation Disciplines.
* Provide the process input for instrument data sheets.
* Generate operation and control philosophies, Cause and Effect charts and control logic diagrams.
* Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and other studies and report.
* Review of Contractor's / Vendor submissions.
REQUIREMENTS
Sound knowledge, experience and skills in process engineering associated with storage and handling of oil, gas and petrochemicals.
* Able to independently generate PFD and P&IDs by understanding the project scope and user requirements.
* Able to perform hydraulic calculations, utility sizing, heat load calculations for new development and assess the adequacy of existing facilities.
* Experience in attending HAZID, HAZOP and SIL Workshops
* Should be willing to learn new software for hydraulics, heat radiation modelling etc.
* Familiarity with NFPA for firefighting designs is an added advantage.
