Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team at [Your Company Name], a prominent fertilizer and pesticide brand. The Procurement Specialist will be a key contributor to our supply chain operations, responsible for sourcing and acquiring essential raw materials and resources. This role demands strong negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the smooth flow of materials crucial to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, facilitating favorable terms and collaboration to secure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Sourcing and Procurement:Identify and onboard new suppliers and materials, continuously assess existing supplier performance, and streamline procurement processes for efficiency.
• Cost Management: Conduct comprehensive cost assessments, market research, and price negotiations to optimize procurement costs.
• Inventory Coordination:Collaborate closely with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both shortages and excess inventory.
• Quality Oversight: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure rigorous standards of product quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Risk Assessment:Monitor potential supply chain risks, proactively identify disruptions, and develop strategies to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, generate reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Salary:
USD 1,000 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for the Procurement Specialist role should have:

• Procurement experience in related industries.
